Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know.

How much does a rental cost?

Rentals cost £3 per hour and are capped at £6. A £25 non-return fee applies if the powerbank is not returned within 24 hours.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Tap a contactless bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at the station and follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I end my rental?

Insert the powerbank firmly into an available slot at the PowerHub station. The station will recognise the return and end the rental.

What if the powerbank does not work?

Contact PowerHub as soon as possible with the venue, approximate rental time and the payment method used. We will help investigate the rental.

What happens if I do not return it?

A £25 non-return fee applies when a powerbank has not been returned within 24 hours. Contact us promptly if you are having difficulty returning it.

Which devices can I charge?

Each PowerHub powerbank includes three built-in connectors: USB-C for most modern Android phones and iPhone 15 or later, Apple Lightning for compatible earlier iPhones, and Micro-USB for older compatible devices. No separate charging cable is needed.

Still need help?
